Patricia Garcia

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, along with her Paralegal Studies Certificate, Patricia began her career at the Law Offices of Edward A. Smith as a legal receptionist. As she developed her legal knowledge and demonstrated exceptional writing, organizational, and analytical skills, she advanced to the role of a Paralegal.

In her expanded role, Patricia transitioned from front-office operations to actively supporting attorneys throughout all stages of a personal injury case, with a primary focus on litigation. She assists with drafting legal documents, managing case files, communicating with clients, and supporting attorneys through discovery, case preparation, and other phases of the litigation process. Her attention to detail, strong research abilities, and commitment to client advocacy contribute to the successful handling of personal injury cases.

Patricia understands the importance of perseverance and meaningful advocacy. Her prior legislative experience on Capitol Hill further strengthened her research, writing, and advocacy skills. She is passionate about helping injured individuals navigate the legal process with compassion and professionalism, ensuring clients feel informed and supported during what is often one of the most challenging times in their lives.

Outside the office, Patricia enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, being outdoors, and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers. She brings the same dedication, curiosity, and compassion to her personal life that she demonstrates in her work.
